Update on Matt

Have been too busy lately to do any updating on our blog. Not sure who reads this, but thought I would update anyways. Matt was able to go back to work right after New Year's - Jan. 2. He is doing much better although he still gets sore sometimes with his lower back and shoulder but now coming on toward the end of this month (Jan.) he is really doing soooo much better.
I had said in a post below that we thought later he didn't have an AC separation of his shoulder and the orthorpedist thought it could have been a really bad sprain because he would not have healed as fast as he did.
We really do have much to be thankful that Matt is alive and well. The neurospinalist said it was "luck" - of course we know it was a miracle that Matt is not paralized today. He didn't have to go through any surgery which is another miracle. We have much to be thankful for and to praise our God.
Also, while Matt was laid up in December he went through another ordeal - kidney stones. The day he had it, we of course didn't know what was going on. His parents came over and his Mom (being a former nurse) thought it could have been kidney stones, but wasn't sure. So back to the ER he went. Thankfully he was able to come hom later that night and did eventually pass the kidney stone.
